XBOX 360 LCPD CLAN: LCPD E.S.U.

The Liberty City Police Department Emergency Service Unit is the Emergency Service Unit (ESU) for the LCPD. A component of the Special Operations Division of the Patrol Services Bureau, the unit provides specialized support and advanced equipment to other LCPD units. For example, The Emergency Service Unit functions as a Special Weapons and Tactics Unit (SWAT) and LCPD hostage negotiators assist and secure the safety of hostages. Members of "ESU" are use for police and rescue work with the FDLC. They are always on patrol with 10 Heavy Rescue trucks, each manned by a police officer and a sergeant, and 10 smaller Radio Emergency Patrol vehicles containing two ESU police officers. There are also two or more patrol Sergeants or Lieutenants in unmarked vehicles on duty at all times to supervise ESU operations where needed. These are called "U-Cars" on the LCPD radio, for example, "U-5". The ESU Is also part of The FBI's LC Joint Terrorist Task Force or (JTTF)

The ESU Headquarters office is on corners of Bismarck ave, Topaz st and San Juan Road.

The ESU Watch commander or highest ESU supervisor on the watch is responsible for All other ESU uints in all Disivions including ESS-13 EOD Truck, ESS-14 Heavy Rescue Truck & ESS-12 Radio Emergency Patrol truck (REP) of the A DIVISION HQ
